LIMIT: 15 kids per session (ages 5 - 10)
COST: $625
WHAT HAPPENS AT HORSE CAMP
Riding: Campers learn how to mount, dismount, walk, steer, and stop their horse. They practice for a horse show on Friday.
Grooming: Campers learn about grooming tools and how to use each item to clean their horse.
Horse care: Campers learn about horse health, nutrition, and breeds.
Barn care: Campers learn to clean stalls, cross-ties, tack and feed rooms.
Games: Campers play equestrian-themed games, like "horse bingo".
Crafts: Campers make horse-themed crafts, like decorating horseshoes to make a horseshoe picture frame.
Horse Show: on Friday we have a horse show where riders get to show off the skills they have been learning all week.
Here's a typical day of camp:
9:00 check in
9:15 - 11:30 groups do three rotations: 1) Barn/Horse Care 2)Riding Lesson 3) craft
11:30 - 12:30 Eat Lunch, daily activity
12:30 Pack up, say goodbye to the horses

CAMPERS DAILY CHECKLIST:
1. Drop off is 9:00am and pickup is 1:00pm. There is no early drop off.
2. Campers should wear long pants and closed toed shoes. It's highly recommended that campers wear clothing that can get soiled with dirt and/or washable paint.
3. Lunch and water bottle. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child's name!
4. Apply sunscreen, as we will be outside during camp hours.
5. We will provide a riding helmet, but if your child has their own helmet, please bring it to camp and make sure it has their name on it.
6. FRIDAY - we have a pizza party and water activity. Only send lunch if your child has specific food allergies. Also, pack a bathing suit, or clothing that can get wet and a beach towel.

TERMS FOR CAMP ENROLLMENT:
1. Liability Waiver/Photo Release Forms: All campers are required to sign a current Liability Waiver and Photo Release form. These forms are included with your confirmation packet. Printed copies will also be available for signature on the first day of camp.
2. Dismissal of Camper: The camp reserves the right to dismiss, in its sole discretion, any camper who appears physically sick, or whose condition, conduct, influence, or behavior is deemed unsatisfactory or detrimental to the best interest of the Camp of her/his fellow campers or who violates Camp rules and regulations, in which case no refunds will be made.
3. Extended Care: NO Extended care is available for this camp.
4. Late Arrival/Early Departure: No reduction in enrollment fees will be made for late arrival of early departure of camper.
5. Medical: Parent grants permission to utilize medical treatment should the camp staff deem such treatment necessary for the well being of the camper. Said parent will pay all medical expenses involved. Parent understands this camp does not provide medical insurance of any kind for the camper.
6. PAYMENT: Full payment is due at the time of registration.
7. REFUND: No refunds after May 1, 2025.
8. TRANSFER POLICY: If you need to change your week of camp, you are allowed one free transfer. Each additional transfer will cost $25.

From the south: Take I-5 N to exit 36 for Via De La Valle. Turn right on Via De La Valle. In 1.5 miles, turn left on El Camino Real. In 0.5 miles, turn left on Sun Valley Rd. Destination is the 2nd driveway on the left. 

From the north: Take I-5 S to exit 37 for Lomas Santa Fe. Turn left on Lomas Santa Fe Dr. Stay in the left lane and in 1.2 miles, turn right on Sun Valley Rd. At the bottom of Sun Valley Rd, turn left. Destination is the 1st driveway on the right.
